Feeling well is key to being the best that we can be in all aspects of life. Below are three things that may help.

SPEaC Happy

A free app that allows feedback in realtime on what is happening in our ED. A way to share suggestions for improvements, problems faced, successes seen. Easy to use; down load it from our device’s app store and use the QR code below to register for our department. Comments are reviewed before being published so there can be a delay to seeing them. They are all read. They are also anonymous.

It will only allow posting while in the ED so doing it at the start or end of shift if it is too busy during the shift is a good way to get something out there.

Study into 15 NZ ED’s looking at wellness in our departments.

It was completed March 2020 and results will be next year.

The employee assistance program consists of 3 free confidential counselling sessions that can be accessed by calling the below number. If it is work related these can be extended.

Counselling is also available through your defence organisation.
