FACEM training at Tauranga Hospital

Tauranga ED has 15 FACEMs working full or part time with various sub-specialty interests that include PEM, Ultrasound, Wellbeing, Maori Health and Retrieval Medicine

We are accredited for 12 months of ED training and count as an Urban District site

Our trainees have also completed accredited training in Paediatrics and General Medicine

We have had several trainees sit the ACEM Primary and Fellowship exams and our latest OSCE pass rate from 2020 was 100%!!

Our co -DEMTs are Dr Sharon Roscoe and Dr Nicky Gaffney (whilst away on maternity leave Dr Anna Vosseteig will be covering)

Our local WBA coordinator is Dr Sarit Singh
